About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Specialist to join our team at Bespoke Support in Dumfries.

Job Summary:

As a Personal Care Specialist, you will provide high-quality support to individuals in their own homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
  • Prepare meals and assist with meal planning.
  • Assist with personal care tasks, such as bathing and dressing.
  • Provide companionship and engage in conversation with the client.
  • Monitor and assist with medication reminders.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a home assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
  • Knowledge of basic household cleaning techniques and practices.
  • Familiarity with meal preparation and cooking.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage in conversation.
  • Compassionate and caring attitude towards clients.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect client privacy.
