Job Title: Assistant CDM Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant CDM Consultant to join our expanding Construction Health and Safety Team at Ridge & Partners LLP.

About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will support the provision of construction health and safety services to both internal and external clients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the preparation of pre-construction information
  • Reviewing construction phase plans and method statements
  • Providing advice to contractors on CDM
  • Undertaking site inspections
  • Supporting colleagues at design team meetings
  • Setting up projects and providing administrative support
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Education to degree level (preferably in a construction-related field)
  • A basic understanding of the CDM Regulations
  • An additional health and safety qualification, such as a NEBOSH Certificate (advantageous)
  • A basic understanding of the design process and principles of risk reduction
  • Associate membership of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) or the Association for Project Safety
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office
