About the Role

North Bristol NHS Trust is seeking an exceptional MS Therapy Coordinator Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the efficient collection of Disease Modifying Therapies data, including blood monitoring and MRI requests, and entry of this information onto the database.

The successful applicant will provide administrative facilitation to Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) meetings, preparing agendas/lists of patients for discussion, and ensuring MDTs run smoothly. They will also maintain good working relationships with Clinicians, Specialist Nurses, clerical and secretarial staff, and use knowledge and experience gained to assist in the training of newer members of the team.

About the Job

  • Collect and enter Disease Modifying Therapies data onto the database
  • Provide administrative support to MDT meetings, including preparation of agendas and lists of patients for discussion
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance and apologies for team meetings
  • Perform general administrative duties, including photocopying, filing, and distributing documents
  • Liaise closely with patients prescribed Disease Modifying Treatments (DMTs) to quantify accurately compliance and help facilitate safe and cost-effective prescribing
  • Keep accurate records of each cost saving instance with respect to DMT prescribing
  • Liaise with Pharmacy and the Homecare Service Provider to help facilitate a smooth medication delivery service
