Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Homelessness Reduction Service Triage Lead to join our team at CV-Library. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing customer needs and circumstances to establish eligibility for assistance under the homelessness legislation and providing targeted early interventions to prevent or delay homelessness.

As a key member of our Homelessness Reduction Service, you will work closely with customers to achieve desired outcomes and provide comprehensive advice and information about housing rights and options available to them.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of preventing homelessness through imaginative problem-solving and skilled negotiation with private landlords and rental agents. They will also possess experience working on defined operational projects with minimum supervision.

With a strong understanding of Part V1 and V11 of the Housing Act 1996, Homelessness Act 2002, HRA 2017, case law, and Code of Guidance, you will be able to provide high-quality support to customers in need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess customer needs and circumstances to establish eligibility for assistance under the homelessness legislation
  • Provide targeted early interventions to prevent or delay homelessness
  • Work closely with customers to achieve desired outcomes
  • Provide comprehensive advice and information about housing rights and options available to customers

Estimated Salary: £26,000 - £32,000 per annum
