Tenancy Liaison Officer

Vox Network Consultants seeks an experienced Tenancy Liaison Officer to join our Homelessness Reduction Service. In this critical role, you will provide expert guidance and support to vulnerable populations, helping to prevent homelessness through targeted early interventions.
About the PositionThe successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of the homelessness legislation, including Part V1 and V11 of the Housing Act 1996, Homelessness Act 2002, and HRA 2017. You will be responsible for conducting rapid initial assessments, establishing eligibility for assistance, and providing comprehensive advice on housing rights and options.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality triage services, including face-to-face, telephone, and email support, to individuals at risk of homelessness.
- Develop targeted early interventions to prevent or delay homelessness, utilizing advocacy, negotiation, and mediation techniques.
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions, ensuring seamless case management and decision-making.
- Proven experience in preventing homelessness, leveraging creative problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently, managing multiple projects and deadlines with minimal supervision.
