We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manual Handling Training Specialist to join our team at Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Clinical Training Team, you will play a vital role in delivering and monitoring programmes of manual handling education and training to all disciplines and grades of staff within the Trust.
Key Responsibilities- Support the design, delivery, and evaluation of manual handling programmes, including induction in relation to safe moving and handling, in accordance with Trust and national priorities.
- Deliver manual handling and associated equipment training, as well as basic life support training, in line with the Trust training plans and requirements.
- Maintain a professional manual handling and equipment advisory service across the Trust, providing specialist advice for all clinical and non-clinical staff as required.
- Assist in promoting a healthy workplace by educating staff and implementing change to minimize the risk of injury from the moving and handling of loads and people, static postures, and repetitive activities.
- Utilize and encourage problem-solving approaches to create a learning environment in which staff can achieve their learning objectives.
