Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Operations Specialist to join our team at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Estates department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with line management to plan and execute maintenance operations across our sites, prioritizing essential tasks that impact patient experience.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of Estates plans, collaborating with other managers to optimize works programmes.
  • Liaise with users and contractors to coordinate maintenance activities, ensuring seamless communication and timely resolution of issues.
  • Supervise maintenance assistants and operational estates contractors, allocating tasks and re-prioritizing as needed to maintain high standards of quality and workmanship.
  • Act on initiative, advising senior staff on implications of technical issues during on-call visits.

Salary Estimate: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
