**About the Job:**

We are seeking a skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to join our CAMHS Enhanced Treatment Team in Brent. The ideal candidate will have experience in working with children and adolescents with complex mental health needs, as well as high clinical risk.

The successful applicant will be responsible for developing the Enhanced Treatment sub-team, providing consultation, and working with colleagues from local authority and education. They will also assess and manage children, young people, and their families as appropriate.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • To work alongside other MDT colleagues to develop the Enhanced Treatment sub-team, offering consultation, and working with colleagues from local authority and education.
  • Provision of a generic service for non-urgent presentations of children and adolescents requiring psychiatric assessments and treatment.
  • Provision of a service to acutely mentally ill children and adolescents when presenting in crisis.
  • Consultation to other members of the multidisciplinary team regarding the management of urgent assessments and risk.

**What We Offer:

A competitive salary of £105,504 - £139,882 per annum, plus a generous annual leave entitlement and study leave. Additionally, you will have access to a relocation package, up to 8K, subject to eligibility.

**Requirements:

The successful applicant must have a primary medical degree, full GMC registration, and section 12 MHA approved status. They should also hold an additional postgraduate qualification relevant to working with children and adolescents.
