Job Overview:

Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to work in a dynamic and award-winning CAMHS Adolescent Community Treatment Team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in child and adolescent psychiatry, with experience in assessing and managing risk in complex patients. They will be able to provide high-quality care and support to young people and their families, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop effective treatment plans.

This role offers a competitive salary of £20,000 - £120,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a Golden Hello of £20,000 payable in two instalments and a Relocation package for up to £8,000.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing psychiatric assessment, including risk assessment for young people referred to, and under the care of, the service.
  • Providing treatment for young people under the care of ACTS, including providing medication management.
  • Working in partnership with young people, parents and carers to develop evidence-based, effective and agreed care plans.
  • Providing consultation, advice and appropriate support to professionals in the wider network of the young person and/or family.
