The NHS invites applications from experienced Children and Young People's Community Nurses to fill a vacancy on its team. This challenging yet rewarding role offers the chance to contribute to the delivery of high-quality care in a dynamic and supportive environment.

As a Children and Young People's Community Nurse, you will be responsible for providing expert care to children and young people in the community. This will involve working closely with families, carers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in pediatric nursing, excellent communication skills, and experience working with vulnerable populations. A salary of £38,890 - £44,503 per annum (inclusive of Band 6) reflects the importance of this position in delivering exceptional patient care.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assessing and managing the health needs of children and young people in the community
  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans in collaboration with families, carers, and other healthcare professionals
  • Maintaining accurate records and contributing to quality improvement initiatives
Requirements

We require candidates with:

  • RN Child / RSCN qualification or equivalent experience
  • At least 2 years' experience working with children and young people
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
