We are looking for a dedicated Care and Development Worker to join our team at Apple Orchard, supporting the care and development of young males aged 13-18 years in Surrey and West Sussex.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Developing Care Plans: Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement comprehensive care plans tailored to each young person's needs.
  • Engaging Activities: Organise and deliver engaging activities that promote the young people's social, emotional, and educational development.
  • Recording Progress: Maintain accurate records of the young people's progress, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Qualification: Hold a Residential Childcare/Families Practitioner Diploma/Children and Young People's Workforce/NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience of working with teenage boys or challenging behaviour is highly desirable.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills, working collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for the young people.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Annual Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
  • Additional Benefits: Company pension, £35 per sleep in (one per week x 48 weeks), access to wellbeing programmes, and promotion opportunities.
