We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Young Learner Support Professional to join the team at Randstad Education, working in partnership with a forward-thinking special school in Reigate. As a vital member of the school community, you will have the rewarding opportunity to shape the educational and personal journey of young learners with special needs.

About the Opportunity:

  • As a Young Learner Support Professional, your primary focus will be on providing personalized support to students in various educational settings, including classrooms, workshops, and outdoor environments.
  • You will work collaboratively with teaching staff, therapists, and other support professionals to create comprehensive support plans that cater to each student's unique needs and goals.
  • Your expertise will empower students to navigate challenges, build resilience, and achieve academic success.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • A competitive salary of approximately £22,000-£27,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Education, Special Education, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Previous experience working with children with special needs, preferably in a school setting.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with students, families, and colleagues.
