Job Description: Nuclear Plant Design Technologist is required to join our team in Workington. As a Nuclear Plant Design Technologist, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for our nuclear plant.

About the Role:

  • Design and develop electrical systems, including instrumentation, control systems, and power transmission.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with other plant systems.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, schematics, and test reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement electrical system designs that meet safety, performance, and efficiency requirements.
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure timely repairs and replacement of electrical equipment.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor electrical system performance and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical system design and development.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, including circuit analysis, control systems, and power transmission.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

What We Offer:

  • Negotiable salary: £70,000 - £90,000 per annum.
