Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales performance and growth within the business, owning and managing key corporate relationships, and defining strategies to achieve planned growth in new and existing markets.

Key areas of focus include:

  • Developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve business growth
  • Managing and maintaining key client relationships
  • Defining and implementing commercial strategies to achieve planned growth
  • Providing accurate and timely business performance reporting
  • Promoting and sustaining a collaborative working relationship with clients, internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful bid delivery, a sound understanding of commercial and contract terms, and experience in contract negotiations in the engineering/rail/consultancy sectors.

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Proven track record of successful bid delivery
  • Sound understanding of commercial and contract terms
  • Experience in contract negotiations in the engineering/rail/consultancy sectors
  • Ability to understand client needs and translate them into concrete technical solutions
  • Excellent knowledge and practical experience of Microsoft Office
  • Self-motivated with excellent personal time management skills
