Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales performance and managing corporate relationships to achieve planned growth in new and existing markets.

Key tasks include:

  • Defining and implementing strategies to achieve sales targets
  • Managing and maintaining relationships with key clients and stakeholders
  • Writing key elements of bid responses with assistance from colleagues as needed
  • Ensuring commercial requirements and risks are considered and mitigated
  • Providing accurate and timely business performance reporting
  • Promoting and sustaining a constructive, supportive, and collaborative working relationship with clients, external and internal stakeholders

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful bid delivery, a sound understanding of commercial and contract terms, and experience in contract negotiations in the engineering, rail, and consultancy sectors.

Additionally, the candidate should have:

  • Excellent knowledge and practical experience of Microsoft Office
  • Self-motivation and excellent personal time management skills
  • Ability to understand client needs and translate them into concrete technical solutions
  • Understanding of the basics of sales, marketing, and tendering
