Lead Data and Analytics Engineer

As a key member of our multi-disciplinary data delivery team, you will play a crucial role in designing and delivering innovative data solutions to complex business problems. Your expertise in data engineering and analytics will enable you to work closely with our solution and data architects to develop robust and efficient data pipelines, data warehouses, and analytical data sets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement complex data pipelines, integrating data from various sources into our analytics platforms.
  • Manage a team of Senior, Mid, and Junior Level Data and Analytics Engineers, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
  • Develop and maintain data models, ensuring data quality and integrity across our enterprise data warehouse.
  • Drive a data-first culture within the data team and across the business, promoting continuous learning and development.
  • Collaborate with our data science and data visualisation teams to deliver high-quality data products and visualisations.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in developing data pipelines, working with various data sources, and using cloud data warehouse technology.
  • Strong understanding of SQL and experience with complex SQL queries.
  • Experience with data modelling, data transformation, and data cleansing.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, demonstrating strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Agile delivery environments, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies.
