About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineering Lead to join our team at Jet2. As a key member of our data delivery team, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of complex data solutions to drive business growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of data pipelines and data warehousing solutions using cloud-based technologies such as Snowflake, Google BigQuery, and AWS Redshift.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data visualisation solutions using tools like Tableau, PowerBI, and Quicksight.
  • Manage and mentor a team of data engineers and analysts to ensure the delivery of high-quality data solutions.
  • Develop and maintain data CI/CD pipelines using Microsoft Azure DevOps.
  • Design and implement data models and data transformations using dbt and other data engineering tools.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in data engineering and data warehousing using cloud-based technologies.
  • Strong understanding of data modelling, data transformation, and data visualisation.
  • Experience in leading and mentoring teams of data engineers and analysts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in an Agile delivery environment using Scrum and/or Kanban.
