About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Consulting Manager to lead and grow our Data Engineering practice in the UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering cutting-edge data engineering solutions, building and expanding partner channels, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and Manage the Data Engineering Practice: Deliver projects across cloud data platforms such as Snowflake and Databricks, providing strategic direction on data architecture, engineering, and cloud-based solutions.
  • Business Development and Client Engagement: Engage in business development activities, working closely with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Partner Channel Development: Build and manage partner channels, driving collaboration with key technology providers like Snowflake and Databricks.
  • Team Leadership and Mentorship: Lead and mentor data engineering teams, ensuring successful delivery of projects and growth of the Data Engineering practice.
  • Technical Expertise: Stay hands-on with SQL and data engineering concepts, providing technical guidance when necessary.
Requirements
  • Data Engineering Experience: Extensive experience in data engineering, with strong knowledge of cloud data platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, or similar technologies.

  • Cloud Data Platforms: In-depth understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and experience with data warehousing, ETL/ELT pipelines, and modern data architectures.
  • SQL Expertise: Strong SQL skills, with the ability to still be hands-on when needed in data transformation and engineering tasks.
  • Leadership and Business Development: Experience leading and managing teams, with a focus on delivering high-quality data engineering projects and building client relationships.
