Job Summary

The Business Development Sales Representative will play a key role in promoting our document destruction services to potential customers. This includes initiating first-point-of-contact sales calls, negotiating contracts, and maintaining a pipeline of prospective customers. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for driving business growth.

The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Responsibilities
  1. Initiate first-point-of-contact sales calls with potential customers to promote our document destruction services.
  2. Negotiate contracts with new and existing customers to meet business targets.
  3. Maintain a pipeline of prospective customers through efficient task management and CRM system utilization.
  4. Conduct high-volume sales calls (outbound and inbound) daily, soliciting services for one-off and regular contracted services.
  5. Provide insight to sales leadership based on feedback from prospective clients to ensure Stericycle maintains its market position.
  6. Promote a positive and professional sales attitude inside and outside the office, ensuring Stericycle's high standards for customer service, security, and environmental consciousness are maintained.
Requirements
  • University/college education or similar relevant sales experience preferred.
  • Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office suite.
  • Proficient in the use and understanding of CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
  • Excellent time management, self-discipline, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to operate under pressure in a high-volume, competitive telesales environment, both individually and as part of a team.
