Your Role

The Head of Fleet Sales will develop and implement a global fleet sales strategy to achieve sales targets and expand our market presence. This role involves managing a team of regional fleet sales managers, fostering relationships with key clients, and ensuring seamless operations across various markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive global fleet sales strategy aligned with the company's objectives
  • Identify and explore new market opportunities to expand fleet sales
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to adapt strategies accordingly

Sales Management

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of regional fleet sales managers to achieve sales targets
  • Set sales goals, KPIs, and performance metrics for the global fleet sales team
  • Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring consistent progress and closing of deals

Client Relationship Management

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients and strategic partners
  • Negotiate and finalise high-value contracts with fleet customers
  • Address client concerns and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction

Collaboration and Coordination

  • Work closely with the wider Commercial teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall business goals
  • Coordinate with regional offices to ensure consistency in sales approaches and customer service
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows

Financial Oversight

  • Develop and manage the global fleet sales budget
  • Reporting and Analysis

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field or qualified by experience
  • Extensive experience in sales, including time in a leadership role within the automotive or fleet sales industry
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing large, diverse teams
  • Strong understanding of global market dynamics and cultural nuances
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel internationally as needed
