Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Strategic Account Manager to join our team at Gartner. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for directing strategy for large, strategic accounts and driving new business within these clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct strategy for large, strategic accounts including driving and coordinating executed selling and relationship activities.
  • Develop a detailed understanding of client business strategy, drivers, goals, and initiatives, and translate these into Gartner selling opportunities.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients to drive account growth and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Meet quota responsibility aligned to specific strategic accounts.
  • Manage large account planning and territory management.
Requirements:
  • 12+ years of experience in consultative B2B sales, preferably in high technology (services, software or hardware).
  • Proven experience building excellent client relationships, offering value-added insight into their business.
  • Strong computer proficiency.
  • Ability to develop and conduct effective presentations with contract decision makers (C-level).
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, Master's or advanced degree a plus.
