About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Podiatrist to join our East Cheshire NHS Trust Community Podiatry Service. As a Clinical Specialist, you will play a key role in providing advanced clinical foot services to patients across East Cheshire.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake triage, assessment, and treatment of referred patients
  • Develop and implement specialist services, including wound care, nail surgery, and biomechanics
  • Support the development of Podiatrists, Podiatry Assistants, and Podiatry students as a Clinical Educator
  • Contribute to service improvement initiatives and support the Team Managers and Advanced Clinical Specialists in the day-to-day running of clinics

Requirements

  • Advanced clinical skills and experience in specialist podiatry services

Working Arrangements

This is a bank-based position, with flexible working arrangements to meet the needs of the service. You will be required to work in a variety of settings, including hospital inpatients, community clinics, health centers, and GP surgeries.
