About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Podiatrist to join our East Cheshire NHS Trust Community Podiatry Service.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a Clinical Specialist in the Podiatry Service, undertaking triage, assessment, and treatment of referred patients.
- Undertake work in a minimum of one specialist area, including wound care, nail surgery, or biomechanics.
- Support the development of Podiatrists, Podiatry Assistants, and Podiatry students as a Clinical Educator.
- Collaborate with Team Managers and Advanced Clinical Specialists to ensure the day-to-day running of clinics and contribute to service improvement initiatives.

Requirements
- Hold a BSc (Hons) in Podiatry or a Diploma in Podiatric Medicine, together with a Certificate in Local Anaesthesia.
- Evidence of Continued Professional Development is essential.
- NHS experience and working in the community is mandatory.

Travel is an integral part of this role, and applicants must be able to fulfill this requirement.
