About the Role

We are seeking a Behaviour Mentor to support students' social, emotional, and behavioural development in an Outstanding SEN school in Lichfield.

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a crucial role in helping students manage their emotions and behaviours, using positive reinforcement and therapeutic techniques to encourage self-regulation and appropriate responses.

Your key responsibilities will include providing behaviour support, building relationships with students, and promoting a safe environment. You will work collaboratively with our highly skilled and compassionate staff to make a genuine impact on the lives of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Behavioural Support: Help students to manage their emotions and behaviours using positive reinforcement and therapeutic techniques.
  • Build Relationships: Establish trusting and respectful relationships with students, acting as a positive role model and source of support for their personal and social development.
  • Promote a Safe Environment: Contribute to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and nurturing school environment where all students feel respected and valued.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £425-£450 per week, paid weekly. As a Behaviour Mentor with Teaching Personnel, you will have access to free child protection and prevent duty training, which includes a DBS check.

This is a temporary contract with opportunities to go permanent. We offer a supportive and inclusive work environment, with a focus on making a genuine impact on the lives of our students.
