About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Emergency Services Receptionist to join our team at University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust. As a key member of our administration team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and visitors, while also ensuring the smooth operation of our reception areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Registration of patients and booking of appointments
  • Administration of patient records and data entry
  • Communication with patients, visitors, and staff
  • Providing information and support to patients and families
  • Working collaboratively with the Emergency Services team to ensure seamless delivery of services

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of patient management systems
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
