Senior Occupational Therapist

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our Integrated Community Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient-centred care to individuals with physical conditions, including neurological, orthopaedic, and musculoskeletal issues.
Main DutiesYou will work closely with community nurses, community matrons, physiotherapists, and rehabilitation assistants to maintain independence, promote self-care, and assist patients in achieving their goals. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assessing patients' needs and developing personalized care plans
- Providing therapy sessions to patients in their homes or in our community settings
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery
- Supervising junior staff and students as needed

Person SpecificationWe are looking for an individual with:
- Experience of working at B5/B6 level
- Previous NHS experience
- Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent
- HCPC registration
Desirable qualifications include experience of community rehabilitation, ordering and assessment of equipment needs, supervision of junior staff, and experience of multi-professional team working.
