Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team at NELFT North East London Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Integrated Community Team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient-centered care and contributing to service development.

Main Responsibilities

You will work closely with community nurses, community matrons, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation assistants to maintain independence, promote self-care, and assist patients in achieving their goals. The successful candidate will be hardworking, reliable, and able to use their initiative and work flexibly to respond to service needs.

You will have the chance to work with a diverse range of patients with physical conditions, including neurological, orthopaedic, falls, long-term conditions, and musculoskeletal issues.

Person Specification
  • Experience of working at B5/B6 level
  • Previous NHS experience
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent
  • HCPC registration
  • Desirable: community rehabilitation, ordering and assessment of equipment needs, supervision of junior staff/student, experience of multi-professional team working
