IT Service Desk Manager

Vallum Associates is seeking an experienced IT Service Desk Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our IT Service Desk. This is a key role that requires strong leadership and technical skills to manage a team of IT professionals and ensure the delivery of high-quality IT support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the IT Service Desk team, including team meetings, 1-to-1s, objective and performance management, and rota creation.
  • Oversee the daily checks and ensure effective IT support, both at the office and remotely.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve IT Service Desk performance, including service desk performance metrics, incident and request fulfillment, and access management.
  • Manage the IT Service Desk budget and resources, including hardware provisioning, software installs, and asset tracking.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless IT support and service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Strong technical skills, including experience with Windows 11, Office, Azure Entra, Azure Admin, Teams Admin, Exchange, SharePoint, Citrix, and printing technology.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with experience in team management and performance management.
  • Ability to produce high-quality documentation, including user guides and technical support documents.
  • Strong attention to detail and a desire to achieve a high-quality standard of work.
