About the Role

The Opportunity:

Avantor is seeking a seasoned Clinical Trials Professional to take ownership of a portfolio of international accounts within our clinical trials projects.

This role will be a hybrid position based out of our global network. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial acumen, outstanding communication, and influential skills along with a passion for the Clinical Trials industry.

The successful Clinical Trials Manager will execute various projects, influence, and provide innovative ideas to our Head of Customer Management and the rest of the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate clinical budget and related pricing strategy services for the purpose of executing a clinical trial or ancillary services agreements.
  • Manage large-scale customer projects and their operational requirements.
  • Analyze and report on customer data to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership across various functions to drive business growth.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to guarantee excellent service delivery and generate repeat business.
  • Coordinate customer contracts and clinical budgets to maximize potential and revenue.
  • Provide clear and meaningful customer reporting.
  • Create quotations for existing customers.
  • Attend customer and study calls as required.
  • Ensure alignment of customer needs and business objectives.
  • Resolve customer complaints and escalations.
  • Identify opportunities to increase business by offering new services or products.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (preferred but not essential).
  • At least 3 years of experience in a customer-facing or account management role, preferably business-to-business (B2B).
  • Previous experience managing large-scale customer projects and their operational requirements.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work and collaborate with senior leadership across various functions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs, particularly Excel and Word.
