About the Role

Cumbria Health is seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our Out of Hours team on a bank basis. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in our Treatment Centres.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work independently as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner, making autonomous decisions and taking charge of patient care.
  • Assess, plan, and implement patient-centred care plans, including diagnosing and discharging patients as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
  • Participate in clinical governance, audit, and risk assessment to maintain high standards of care.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of innovative services, implementing evidence-based practice and promoting patient safety.
Requirements
  • Significant post-registration experience (minimum 3 years) in a relevant field, with evidence of autonomous practice and leadership skills.
  • 1st Level professional registration, Graduate degree with honours, and Non-Medical prescribing qualification.
  • Advanced clinical examination and history-taking qualification, and evidence of recent Continual Professional Development.
