BS Stainless Limited, a leading stainless steel stockholder and manufacturer, is seeking a Quality and Compliance Coordinator to join their team in Preston.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with quality and environmental standards across the organisation, including monitoring and improving quality and environmental practices, conducting internal audits, and overseeing non-conformance and customer complaint reporting.

The role will involve:

  • Maintaining and improving the quality and environmental policy for the entire site
  • Developing a positive quality and environmental culture across all departments
  • Ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 standards
  • Staying up to date with relevant external legislation affecting the business' quality and environmental obligations
  • Conducting internal audits on the organisation's integrated management system
  • Implementing new quality and environmental initiatives to improve business performance
  • Maintaining and controlling customer complaints, ensuring sufficient resolutions and corrective actions are implemented

The ideal candidate will have a background in quality and environmental compliance, preferably within manufacturing, and experience in root cause analysis, planning, and organisational skills. They will also have excellent communication skills and be able to liaise with colleagues across the organisation.
