Quality Assurance Compliance Specialist

Natures Aid Limited is seeking a Quality Assurance Compliance Specialist to join our team in Preston, Lancashire. As a Quality Assurance Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining supplier assurance documentation, managing controlled documentation, and initiating investigations into customer complaints.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain supplier assurance documentation for APIs and Excipients, including supply chain maps, excipient risk assessments, and accreditation certificates.
  • Manage controlled documentation, such as SOPs, work instructions, forms, and policies.
  • Initiate investigations into customer complaints and respond accordingly.
  • Perform and write up internal audits in line with the company schedule.
  • Aid in participating in regulatory and certification audits.
  • Coordinate and generate export documentation.
  • Prepare annual product quality reviews.
  • Check and authorize QC documentation.
  • Notify products to the FSAI.
  • Undertake product registrations with the Soil Association and Vegan Society.
  • Write SOPs, specifications, protocols, and reports as required.
  • Complete all documentation accurately and meet deadlines.
  • Coordinate the company's CAPA process and pursue outstanding actions.

Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze data and come to conclusions.
  • Process-driven and strong ability to follow procedures.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficient working knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office suite, especially Word and Excel.
  • A flexible approach with the ability to work in a small team.
  • Experience working in a similar role within a Quality function is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience working within a GMP environment is desirable.
  • Previous experience working toward ISO accreditations is desirable.
