The Role:

As an Environmental Graduate, you will be part of a dedicated team working on environmental initiatives within Dawn Meats. Your responsibilities will include maintaining compliance with environmental regulations, controlling the operation of the Effluent Treatment Plant, and leading the site energy/environmental team to achieve sustainability measures. You will also be responsible for implementing and improving site Energy Performance Indicators, completing energy/environmental audits, and undertaking monitoring checks. Additionally, you will be involved in record keeping for compliance and statutory reporting, coordinating waste management practices, and liaising with the wider Group Environmental team.

The Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for a candidate with a relevant degree in an environmental discipline, an understanding of operating integrity, quality processes, and systems, and strong financial understanding and business acumen. The ideal candidate will also have excellent communication skills, good knowledge of Microsoft Office, and excellent time management. They will be able to work as an active and constructive member of a team with a professional enthusiastic attitude.
