We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Tesco Media Events and Propositions team. As Head of Tesco Media Events and Propositions, you will be responsible for managing Tesco-led media propositions and seasonal events to create engaging customer experiences while driving revenue growth from CPG partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the management of CPG-funded in-store and online events and key customer propositions plans, including commercial reporting, development, and governance with key stakeholders at Tesco.
  • Develop and implement a strategic direction for events and propositions, building out an effective strategy to maximize media revenues and processes to deliver on it.
  • Collaborate with dunnhumby insights capabilities to develop unique customer insights to support sales processes to the CPG community and internal sales teams.
  • Craft compelling sales narratives for events and propositions that engage and upskill sales teams, empowering them to maximize revenue potential.
  • Influence supplier/retailer decision-making with respect to marketing and media programs to provide customer solutions.
  • Collaborate with immediate and wider media/insight teams to develop and execute best-in-class plans.
  • Build effective networks with key stakeholders at Tesco across customer and proposition teams to enable delivery of the strategy.
  • Collaborate with internal support teams to provide input into shaping and launching emerging solutions.
  • Collaborate with Tesco and dunnhumby marketing to generate market-leading collateral and PR that builds the external narrative.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in media planning and working with CPGs, retailers, or agencies.
  • Understanding of events within grocery retail.
  • Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills, with a large number of stakeholders.
  • Media planning or retail background.
