The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Special Educational Needs, excellent behaviour management skills, and experience working with children who display challenging behaviour. As a Student Mental Health Assistant, you will work closely with qualified therapists, behaviour consultants, and psychologists to gain a deeper understanding of how to communicate, regulate, and advocate for children in the SEN community.

The role involves providing 1-1 support to students and participating in small groups who require additional assistance throughout the school day. You will be responsible for creating a safe and supportive learning environment, promoting positive relationships, and encouraging students to reach their full potential.
