About the role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Lead to manage our Nottingham Young Person Supported Housing Service, providing accommodation and support to 80 young people.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage a team of Support Workers and Housing Management workers to deliver high-quality supported housing services.
  2. Ensure the team understands and meets the agreed financial standards on voids, arrears, and re-lets.
  3. Manage the rota and on-call arrangements, ensuring effective service delivery.
  4. Lead by example, upholding Nacro's values and behaviours, and translating them into everyday activity.
  5. Ensure safeguarding and risk management are integral to support work, and manage safeguarding alerts and incidents safely.
  6. Meet service quality standards and ensure the team adheres to operational and policy standards.
  7. Communicate organisational and local messages effectively through regular team meetings.

Requirements:

  • Extensive knowledge of supported housing services and/or housing management services.
  • Prioritise tasks effectively, ensuring the team's needs are met and contractual KPIs are achieved.
  • Be adaptable and highly organised, balancing time and championing relationship mapping in the region.
  • Excellent people skills, including problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
