Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced educational leader to join our team as an Assistant Principal - Teaching & Learning Leader. This is a key leadership position that will play a critical role in shaping the educational direction of our school.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the development and implementation of teaching and learning programs across the school.
  • Provide guidance and support to teachers to enhance their instructional practices and improve student outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other leaders to develop and implement school-wide initiatives that promote student learning and achievement.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that support teaching and learning.
  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of teachers and other staff members.
  • Participate in school-wide decision-making and contribute to the development of the school's strategic plan.
Requirements
  • Provisional or full registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
  • Minimum 5 years of teaching experience, with a strong background in educational leadership.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with teachers, students, and parents.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a strong commitment to student learning and achievement.
