We are a leading consultancy, Edwards & Pearce, looking for a talented Category Marketing Strategist to join our team in Europe. Our client is a renowned manufacturer of workspace health solutions, and we are proud to be working with them on their growth journey.



About the Role


The estimated salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. As a Category Marketing Strategist, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing marketing plans to promote our client's Ergonomic Workspace Solutions across Europe.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Develop and implement category strategy to drive business growth and achieve budgeted shipment and EBITDA goals.
  • Oversee all marketing activities for the division, including campaigns, promotions, sales, and marketing tools, assets, and resources.
  • Promote Workspace Ergonomic Solutions, including monitor arms and other associated subcategories.
  • Establish effective communication strategies to attract prospective customers and retain existing ones.
  • Represent the team to cross-functional groups, including product management, sales, and customer support.
  • Update senior leadership on progress and report on results of specific projects and tasks.
  • Lead market research efforts to uncover viability of current and existing marketing activities.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external agencies to deliver briefs and activities in a timely manner.
  • Take responsibility for photography and video shoots, ensuring timely and organised execution.
  • Monitor campaigns and activities, analysing data to evaluate success of marketing efforts.
  • Manage marketing budgets and expenditure wisely and maintain professional knowledge through educational workshops and publications.


Requirements:



  • Subject matter related further education essential, ideally BA/BSc level.
  • Proven track record of developing and launching marketing activities, campaigns, and initiatives.
  • Proven work experience in a marketing team or department, or as a marketing manager.
  • Experience working in healthcare/workspace environment, ideally on Ergonomic Workspace Solutions.
  • European level experience within healthcare categories.
  • Good understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channels, within B2B/B2C environment.
  • Able to think creatively and innovatively, with excellent communication skills.
  • Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively, with strong organisational and project management skills.
  • Numerate and analytical ability, with a flexible attitude to continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrates initiative and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
