Food and Beverage Assistant

We are seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, and efficient Food and Beverage Assistant to join our Conference & Banqueting team at Ashdown Park Hotel & Country Club.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests across our food and beverage operations.
  • Assist in setting up lounge, restaurants, meeting rooms, and functions to ensure a high-quality experience for our guests.
  • Take food and beverage orders, relay them accurately, and present and serve food and beverages to the highest standards.
  • Follow all food hygiene and safety protocols at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Professional, friendly, and approachable personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Smart appearance and good personal presentation.
  • Previous experience in the food and beverage industry is preferred, but full training will be given.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and remain calm under pressure.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Reliability and flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
  • Own transport is advantageous due to our rural location.
