We are seeking a dedicated professional to support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a dynamic environment.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate or those looking to transition into a career as a Speech and Language Therapist.

You will be working closely with our teaching staff, therapists, and support staff to deliver targeted interventions that aim to enhance students' learning, development, and language acquisition.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support class teachers in providing a rich learning experience for students.
  • Provide behaviour and pastoral support to students.
  • Contribute to forward planning with therapists to ensure effective student support.
  • Build robust relationships with students.
  • Demonstrate a practical approach to meet individual needs.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Show empathy, compassion, and active listening skills.
  • Work one-on-one and in small groups with students.
  • Ensure safeguarding of students in line with procedures.
  • Provide personal care support when required.
  • Attend staff meetings and complete relevant Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
Requirements:

No prior experience necessary; however, candidates should demonstrate a genuine interest in working with children with SEN.

A degree is highly valued but not essential.

What We Offer:

* Competitive daily rate of £85-£110 (Mon-Fri, 8.30am-4pm, term time only)

The estimated salary for this role is approximately £26,300 - £33,600 per annum, depending on the location and experience.
