Your Role

We're seeking a full-time Early Years Practitioner to join our team at Bright Horizons Leatherhead Day Nursery and Preschool. As a key member of our nursery team, you'll be responsible for planning and delivering engaging activities that promote child development and progress towards key milestones.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement activities tailored to each child's needs and abilities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents and carers.
  • Promote child welfare, protection, health, and safety.
  • Contribute to maintaining a positive, safe, and inclusive environment.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A Full and Relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
  • Previous experience working with children (ideally as a Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, or similar).
  • A passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
  • The ability to build trust and strong working relationships with colleagues and parents.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and legislative requirements for working with children.
