Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Health Visitor to join our team in Surrey, working with children and families. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a high-quality service, assessing health needs, and developing interventions to improve outcomes.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to contribute to our 0-19 public health team. You will work closely with colleagues to ensure effective service delivery, prioritizing workload and delegating tasks appropriately.

The role requires a strong understanding of current issues affecting the NHS and the children and families public health agenda. You will have experience of working within a multi-agency team, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

As a Health Visitor, you will be responsible for making Every Contact Count with children and their families, undertaking well-child clinic sessions, and assisting in the planning and delivery of continence assessments.

You will also participate in safeguarding responsibilities, including attending child protection conferences and contributing to protection plans.

The ideal candidate will hold a Registered Nurse (RN1) Health Visitor SCPHN qualification, be a current NMC registrant, and possess a Nurse Prescriber (V100) qualification.

The salary for this role is £39,205 to £47,084 per annum, inclusive of a 5% High Cost Area allowance.
