Job Title: Supply Chain Manager

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team at the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS). As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic maintenance material supply contracts for the organization, ensuring robust contract and performance management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage high-volume catalogue management and identify improvements to streamline the purchasing operation.
  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to meet business needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Monitor and analyze contract performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in supply chain management, preferably in the social housing sector.
  • Strong contract management skills, with good financial and commercial acumen.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively.
