Job Title: Supply Chain Manager

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team at Aspire Housing. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic maintenance material supply contracts for the organisation, ensuring robust contract and performance management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage supply contracts to ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform business decisions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in supply chain management, preferably in the social housing sector.
  • Strong contract management skills, with the ability to negotiate and manage contracts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders.
  • Good financial and commercial acumen, with the ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of procurement methodologies and techniques, with the ability to apply them in a practical context.
