Vacancy Overview

We are seeking a skilled Vocational Skills Coach to deliver Health and Social Care up to Level 5 in the South West area. The successful candidate will possess a passion for learning and coaching, as well as excellent communication skills.

Job Description:

This role involves planning and delivering a training program, ensuring robust Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) and regular review of learner progress. Additionally, you will be responsible for keeping learner records up-to-date and providing timely reports for management and audit requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Programme Delivery: Plan and deliver a training program, incorporating both online and face-to-face support, to meet the needs of learners.
  • Learner Support: Facilitate teaching of functional skills qualifications required by apprentices, providing meaningful feedback and encouragement.
  • Progress Review: Regularly review learner progress, making adjustments to ILPs as necessary, to ensure learners stay on track.
  • Communication: Maintain effective relationships with learners, employers, and colleagues, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
  • Vocational experience in the relevant area (Essential)
  • Proven track record of meeting targets (Essential)
  • Sector qualification in the relevant area (Essential)
  • Maths & English at Level 2 or above (Essential)
