Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Education and Skills Manager to join our Education and People Development Service at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading on the design, implementation, and evaluation of development opportunities, as well as analysing data and feedback to identify necessary actions and interventions.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in education and people development, with experience of working in a senior leadership role within the NHS or a complex organisation. They will be responsible for developing career pathways for non-medical clinical and non-clinical workforce from apprenticeships to post-registration, managing the DAS account to maximise the opportunities presented through the Apprenticeship Levy, and leading on work experience within the organisation.

The estimated salary for this position is £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include a generous pension scheme, annual leave entitlement, and opportunities for professional development.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading on the undertaking of a leadership and management learning needs analysis and design.
  • Developing and providing coaching and mentoring services across the trust.
  • Evaluating the impact of all provision within people development service.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree or equivalent significant relevant experience, with evidence of continuing professional development in relevant topics. They will also possess coaching/mentoring qualifications and a strong desire to improve performance and make a difference by focusing on goals.
