Job Overview

We are recruiting for a Diabetes Specialist Nurse to work with a national service provider on a permanent basis.

The role involves working within primary care settings, conducting clinics in community locations such as GP practices, care homes, and health centres, while also working from home.

Key responsibilities include identifying sub-optimally controlled patients with Type 2 diabetes, optimising their oral therapy, and referring for specialist insulin treatment where necessary.

To be eligible for this role, you must have a Diabetes diploma or equivalent, minimum 3 years of experience managing diabetes in primary care, and be knowledgeable in the provision of education, support, and advice to people with Type 2 Diabetes.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £45,000 per annum, based on national averages for similar roles, and includes a comprehensive benefits package, including annual bonus incentive scheme, car allowance, company pension, private medical insurance, and more.
