About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Directorate Manager for Pharmacy to join our Senior Pharmacy Management Team. As a key member of our Divisional Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the operational area across all hospital sites.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of strategic plans to improve patient care and outcomes
  • Manage and motivate a large multi-professional team to deliver high-quality services
  • Develop and manage budgets to ensure effective resource allocation
  • Collaborate with clinicians and other stakeholders to promote a positive, learning culture
  • Ensure compliance with clinical governance frameworks and risk management strategies
Requirements
  • Significant operational experience at senior manager level in the Health/Social Care Sector
  • Proven track record of achieving targets and managing large teams
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Business-focused with an ability to think innovatively
