About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant Volunteer to join our team at the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust.

As a Healthcare Assistant Volunteer, you will provide critical support to our Hospital Ambulance Liaison Officers (HALOs) in managing the smooth transition of patients from incoming ambulance crews into the care of hospital teams. You will also assist in getting ambulances turned around quickly to respond to emergency calls without delay.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and have a strong commitment to promoting equality and diversity. You will also have the ability to develop effective working relationships with colleagues and the public.
