Aviation Development Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced Aviation Development Manager to join our team at Dar. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the planning and development of airports, including market research, forecasting, and demand analysis.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in airport planning and development, with proficiency in Aviation Simulation Tools. They will also possess strong analytical, technical writing, and proposal preparation skills, as well as leadership experience with the ability to mentor junior staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Research and Forecasting: Conduct market research and formulate various types of forecasts for airport business segments, including commercial airports, general aviation, and cargo operations.
- Demand Analysis: Analyze peak demand for terminal buildings on an hourly and daily basis and develop airfield layout plans in compliance with international codes and standards.
- Capacity Assessment: Assess the capacity of different runway configurations and estimate taxi times, and develop requirements for ancillary buildings.
- Master Planning and Quality Assurance: Manage, prepare, and ensure QA/QC of airport master plans and layout plans, and conduct aeronautical surveys and safety and security analyses.
Requirements:
- Proven extended experience in airport planning and development.
- Proficiency in Aviation Simulation Tools.
- Strong analytical, technical writing, and proposal preparation skills.
- Leadership experience with the ability to mentor junior staff.
- Excellent communication and management abilities.
Salary Estimate: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
